Based in Beverly Hills, California, OLIVER TOLENTINO is a red carpet couturier and celebrity go-to for everything luxurious and elegant.  His feminine detailing and strong silhouettes capture old Hollywood glamour.  With a design philosophy that stems from his native Philippines, Tolentino’s vibrant colors and prints and attention to couture details have earned him an A-List clientele.

America’s Next Top Model featured Tolentino when he created the USA vs. U.K. “walk off” runway collection for the Cycle 18 season opener, and his dresses were featured in the Pink’s Hotdog photo shoot for Cycle 17.

On the international stage, Tolentino was an invited inaugural designer at the 1st Thai Silk International Fashion Week in Bangkok.  He’s shown at fashion weeks in Austria, Bali, the Bahamas, Barbados, South Korea, Thailand, and at EcoChic/ReDress events in Hong Kong.  Additionally, his clothes have been presented at the United Nations’ Palais des Nations in Geneva, Switzerland, and Israel.  In 2022, he was the invited annual guest designer at Vienna Fashion Week in Austria.

Nationally, Tolentino’s collections have been featured in Eco Fashion Week at NY Fashion Week, Los Angeles Fashion Week, United Colors of Fashion in NY, Downtown L.A. Fashion Week, San Diego’s Women’s Week, Gorgeous & Green’s and P.I.A.’s charity galas, both in San Francisco.  In November 2022, he was invited, along with Ungaro, to show at the inaugural Kornit Fashion Week LA in Los Angeles.  He’s also been honored as “Designer of the Week” at Palm Springs’ prestigious Fashion Week El Paseo.

Tolentino started his career in Manila and rose to prominence in his native Philippines through hard work and determination.  In 2009, he became the country’s first couture designer to expand to the United States and ultimately set up a flagship shop in Beverly Hills.  The designer’s couture skills were immediately noticed as he was honored as a finalist in the 2010 OSCARS® Designer Challenge.  The Philippines national TV network ABS-CBN also honored him as its Samsung MetroWear Icon in its largest televised gala held in Manila.  He also became the 2nd designer of Filipino descent to dress an Oscar winner at an Academy Awards.

Tolentino excels in all fabrics but often specializes in eco-friendly ones, earning him the title of 2011 Featured Designer of eco-ethical endeavor Rags2Riches, first ever featured Eco Designer at Global Green’s 2012 Pre-Oscars Party, and the 2010 Sustainable Eco Fashion Award winner in the Bahamas.  Through incorporation of fabrics such as piña (fabric derived from pineapple leaves), Tolentino has become one of the biggest promoters of his native country’s weavers and embroiderers on the international stage.
